On the first weekend of November, the village of Barão de São João, in the municipality of Lagos, will host a festival that combines hiking with art.
The programme is long and varied, with dozens of activities for all tastes: long, short, and themed walks (geology, botany, birdwatching, history, drawing...), workshops, activities for children and families, mountain bike rides and wellness activities that invite you to relax and enjoy nature.
In every edition, the organization relies on the mobilization of the local artistic community, which comes together to provide visitors with an artistic immersion in this village with such peculiar characteristics.
Organization
Organised by Almargem Associação de Defesa do Património Cultural e Ambiental do Algarve, and Câmara Municipal de Lagos.
The festival also has the support of the Centro Cultural Barão de São João, União de Freguesias de Bensafrim e Barão de São João and Instituto de Conservação da Natureza e das Florestas.
