The Algarve Walking Season has the support and funding of the Algarve Tourism Board and the partnership of the Algarve Tourism Association for the international market.

Cooperativa QRER coordinates the AWS brand in collaboration with Proactivetur and in liaison with the Algarve Tourism Board.

It has the partnership of the promoters of the different festivals: Junta de Freguesia de Santa Bárbara de Nexe, promoter of the Santa Bárbara de Nexe Walking Festival; Câmara Municipal de Alcoutim, promoter of the Alcoutim and Sanlúcar de Guadiana Walking Festival, Almargem, Associação de Defesa do Património Cultural e Ambiental do Algarve, promoter of the Barão de São João - Walk & Art Fest and Câmara Municipal de Monchique, promoter of the Monchique Walking Festival.
